    Another vote for Swazi Tahr anorak its old one but very dependable NZ made that gets my dollar. Wouldn't touch Macpac they use very suspect factories in the 3rd world with horrendous labour abuses so...

    Black plastic rubbish bag, rip a head hole in the bottom and a couple of arm holes. It's more water proof than most, and pretty cheap too.

    Swazi is good and NZ made, I've got an old tahr anorak and the new light weight rifleman. Only had the rifleman in a couple of rain storms so far and kept me dry, very breathable and quick drying...
