G'day Antz, I'm guessing you are thinking of hunting the alps for red deer, chamois and tahr. SAUM's setup makes a lot of sense but not everyone has extra testicles like him and Richie McCaw. My...

Nick.m liked post by kbrebs On thread : what makes a true hunter?
A "True hunter" is someone who hunts for the right reasons. Who has a deep love and call for the wild places and creatures in them. Who respects the wilderness. Who respects the wild animals...

I think that the qualities of a true hunter are intrinsic rather than extrinsic. Its the stuff you can't see that is important. Empathy for the quarry - you won't have that if you don't have it...

"Hunting" and "hunter" as a term or definition are very subjective and what you think qualifies to be called a hunter and what I think qualifies can vary so much that it's also impossible to answer. ...

Tahr I'm going to have to disagree with you on some of that, us sika hunters are so spoilt for choice with public land hunting access. And as you say you have spent your whole life hunting the...

I have a 19” 300 wsm and love it, has dropped everything on its feet. Originally had it at 21 inches and was getting 178eldx at 2900 happily no problem but I hunt bush most of the time so cut to 19....

I guess the co-incidence of little t trophy and big T Trophy is where the magic happens. Having a great experience and shooting an objectively special animal.

The facts: The ELDX is not working up close but it works at distance, so despite what the manufacturer says it is going too fast when close. Going to another soft projectile will likely just fuck the...

Couldn't care less how the Duleys get a ballot block. Rather have them getting a block and hunting it ethically, than others that won't. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Reeeeally though I think its unpopular simply because outodoors with geoff uses one.Although according to Geoff the 25-06 is now called the 7mm08 so I guess its become popular after all.
