Ok , so I have one, and it is still in its box as my intention was to mount it on an Howa mini. The plus: short compact and one of the lightest ffp for its Magnificat power available on the market,...

nor-west liked post by Tahr On thread : Historical Interest: Tahr in the Tararuas?!
Yes, a Tahr was shot in the Tararuas although I always thought it was in the Otaki Forks area. Whereami who was on the old forum saw the dead animal. He said that it had very badly overgrown hooves -...

Maxx the solvent was "Pro Shot - Solvent 1V". Worked a treat - just three or so good swab outs with a soaked rag and a few minutes to soak and cleaned until the rags weren't blue.

Haven't noticed that but haven't shot off hand with the digital much. That shot was with a thermal. Ive noticed though my heart pounding in my head, my eyes running and the gasping for breath :)

This for me is close. 2.5-15 x 44. Good glass. Cross hair and dot (illuminated dot). Under $1,500. 30mm, I guess to fit the illumination in. Reliable (Brian and I have several Tracts - never a...

I think the March 3-24x42 F is the closest thing available to my ideal scope. If someone took that and made: - 2 models - 2x bottom end and 3x bottom end, 5x or 6x ratio - so 2-10 or 12, and...

Vixen 4-16 can be had with a BDC reticle and parallax adjustment. It has a 44mm objective and reasonably lightweight too. Very good value.
