nor-west liked post by tanqueray On thread : Limitations of a percussion revolver
“Solely as an antique” doesn’t scream out to me that it can’t be shot. People still use antique clocks to tell the time, even if they’re kept as an antique. Since reading this clause I have an...

nor-west liked post by Pointer On thread : 338 Federal versus 358 Winchester
Workmate had a 358 built on a kimber Montana with a silly short barrel and can. Saw it first hand on a large bodied red stag, very effective. Front on it ended up behind the right side hip joint.

Instead of a cartridge run at max to get decent velocity like the 7mm blaser go with the bigger 28 nosler run it well below max and achieve the same result and better barrel life if you were into...

nor-west liked post by Timmay On thread : Zeiss conquest 3-9x40 Any good?
I've owned a Zeiss Conquest for about 6-7 years, it was the Rapid Z 600 model. The glass is great quality, sharp to the edges and fantastic in low light. I have no experience at dialing as the lazer...

nor-west liked post by MB On thread : parries are easy
Reminds me of the time I spent a whole day in a muddy ditch, enjoying the pissing rain for two parries which I knocked over and then flew off as I went to collect them :omg:

nor-west liked post by Tahr On thread : Knife Belt or no knife belt?
I've been thinking about this thread and why I wear stuff on my belt, and why some don't or never had. I wonder if its sort of a reflection of the growing divide between town and country - a...

nor-west liked post by Ryan_Songhurst On thread : Knife Belt or no knife belt?
I have also thought about this and thought it would be a good idea to get a daypack and take it to the likes of twin needle or cactus and get them to add clips to the shoulder straps so that I could...

Well, there is more to the 1080 side than just settling public conspiracy theories: If the tests done were negative for botulinum toxin, then ACC should not really decline cover for treatment...

Some good suggestions guys. I'm not too keen on a custom rifle as I don't really have a specialized type of use (e.g long-range) in mind. Just want a well-built carry rifle which I can lug around...
