norsk liked post by thatguy On thread : Taupo NZDA range
Used it a week ago, people in Taupo area are lucky to have it, it’s so much better than the Auckland NZDA range. Come and go when you want (for now) Apparently they are upgrading it too.

norsk liked post by Tahr On thread : not enough elevation in scope
They only have 30 MOA of elevation which is the least I have ever heard of so that might be your problem. Once mounted you will have less than 15 minutes each way (up and down). You might need to...

Sharp things hanging a wall makes me nervous without some sort of anti-gravity/anti-earthquake/anti-bump attachment system - maybe a rubberband between the pairs of dowel?

Don't touch anything , get your target shooter to have a go . Shooting at 100 is one thing but shooting at a greater distance is something else , it is not as easy as some would have you believe .
