I run a Holosun 507C on my pistol slide. It slams back and forward with each shot with the slide, if that doesn't kill it nothing you are likely to do on a rifle will make it loose zero or stop...

If you've got screw adjustable legs I wouldn't bother, the notched legs are heavier but no more or less user friendly imo. The plug is nice but a bit of a gimmick, they are strongly magnetic I...

I’ve got a holosun 403r on a single shot 308, was about $480 and it’s proving bloody awesome. Gun gets broken down and reassembled and travels a lot. No issue with holding zero so far and a pleasure...

I use a couple of Vortex Crossfire II 2 MOA which are excellent and cost me under $300 at the time from Bronco Sport Tauranga. Highly recommend them if you want something good but not at $800+

Check out the Ashburton & Districts Rifle Club that shoots (most) Sunday afternoons in Ashburton. There's generally a mix of TR FTR F-Open & FPR shooters present.

Competitive F-open guys would definitely want better than 1/2 MOA. For F-PR I would want an honest 1/2 MOA at a minimum, the smaller you can get the better obviously. If you are finding that wind...
