Looks like they have started a 5GB roam plan for $15/month over in oz, hopefully that makes it over here as that would be perfect for how I plan to use mine. Would get more data if I was doing longer...

Yep, can access the starlink website/use the app on your phone to reactivate through a starlink unit without other connectivity. Double checked that before buying mine.

LRF on a thermal is a great tool. Helps when outlines are not clear it its a possum at 30m or a deer at 300m, then you can reposition for a better/closer view as required. Also found it handy...

Weighed my ute then the ute & trailer and did the sums, allowed me to take the towball weight out of the mix and get the total trailer weight. Best not to take the trailer off on the weighbridge...
