You're limiting your self to pretty much private ground. Went through the same a couple of year ago, and liked having the option of DOC ground, hence the 223

I prefer bigger over smaller. It's not fun being slightly off and having to chase it down with 22. Watched a home kill fella do that. I ran inside and got the 270 and dropped it across the paddock....
