Those JW15s shoot way outa proportion to their cost. I bought one, chopped it down, smoothed the action, fitted a can.. for my nephew. It outshot his father's 452. I still remember him laughing away...

I don't know how it would go in a bow stave, but it does (suprisingly, at least to me, but apparently not to Maori who used it extensively for walking sticks) make a superb springy and tough walking...
