   Heard a few hee haws, single calls and a red roar yesterday morning. Managed to knock this guy over with my 7mm SAUM when he popped out at 645metres.

    I managed to bugger up all my limited chances with Reds during the roar but had some awesome stalks but a bit of bad luck at the end - was happy enough to be out in the bush. I shot this wee guy...

    Spent a few roars in there in my younger days. And you'll find deer at all points of the compass in there. And your able to hunt until quite late in the evening with 3 main cut tracks to come back...
