JBNZ liked post by Pommy On thread : Using NZTopo as a Rangefinder
Dropped a spiker 600m away about 30 mins before dark across a gulley. Buddy and I headed straight down towards it. At the bottom we had the epiphany that it was going to be pitch black by the time we...

They're not equivalents in the same way that AR2225 and Hodgdon Retumbo are literally the same powder. Alliant make their own - it's not rebranded ADI powder. ADI's chart is indicative of what...

There's shit loads of reviews of them online. Bolts are a bit rough and the stocks leave a lot to be desired, but they're decently functional and accurate rifles.

TimC liked post by Pommy On thread : 6.5 question
It's not so much a gimmick as it is a compromise. They're sleek to match the barrel profile and they're radial which is OK for reducing muzzle flip but less so purely for recoil reduction. If you...

I've started to run low on Re26 and have gotten frustrated with erratic behaviour from it at times anyway, so just switched to AR2225... 202860 Both the last groups come in at 0.290" and 59.2gr...

If Re26 works well and the case capacity is similar to a rem mag, then 2217 and 2225 are gonna be the primary picks.

Yep people work up and keep going until they get a heavy bolt lift or a flat primer or stamp. And then maybe back it off a fraction and call that their max charge. Which is probably too hot since...

I had one done. Looks neat. Doesn't save a noticeable amount of weight. Don't regret it - but itch has been scratched and it certainly costs too much for me to want to get it done on another.
