Micky Duck liked post by Pommy On thread : 6mm 95gr in 1:8 twist
No issue with stability. 1:8's will stabilise 105-108gr boat tails. Shorter, lighter 85-95gr bullets will be fine. Accuracy... This is the same as shooting 55gr from 1:8 twist 223's. 69/77gr is...

Pretty much. You are limited on velocity so have to make up for it with mass and frontal area to get the terminal effect. And you only need a tiny bit of powder to send a bullet out at 1000fps so if...

Nothing special about the twist rate, length, or it being a CZ that changes much. You will be limited to about 70gr in projectile weight by the twist. 69gr TMK's were what I used to squeeze the...

Bigger is better for the bullet. Smaller is better for the case.

There's no rules*. Shorten it as much as you'd like. You're just gonna lose an increasing amount of velocity for every inch you take off. Probably ~20-40fps for the first few. So keep enough...

JoshB, the difference between the 40, 45, and 50 is diameter (and therefore volume). For a 300wsm I'd suggest the Optima50 or the H3. Feel free to PM me. Bagheera, yes you need the brake end cap...

It's far from the only powder that will work. Keep an eye out for BM2 and 8208 too. 2207, 2219, and 2208 are plenty good with the right bullet weights too.
