Born in Auckland. Hunter and shooter (professionally and recreationally) for 54 years. Was actively involved in SAR as a park ranger, and SAR Adviser and Search Coordinator for NZ Police (35 years). NZ Mountain Safety Council bushcraft and firearms safety instructor (22 years).

    LOL, 4 gauge! Beats my latest possuming excursion with a .45 ACP. Lots of totara trees on my place and if the possums are hiding in the top branches, a .22lr will often deflect off small branches...
