   Quick google and yes the Yamaha Vmax is gone out of production 2020. ...also was talk of hornady had discontinued and replaced certain weight and calibre types of the vmax projectiles in the past....

   Update I got the rifle back from the smith a few weeks ago after shortening to 20” but hadn’t gotten round to zeroing Zero at 100 and got crony data ill go 200 zero in the long term Crony ...

    Bag under butt, left hand on the top of the scope (this will not put so much weight onto the fore end if the fore end is a little flexy). A bag under the butt to support that, a pad or something...

    Yep no surprise there. Try the 2213sc or 2209. Or reloder (expensive as fck) or Superformance (temp sensitive) if you have the $.

    Treat them like a cup and core. Hornady data will be a good starting point. They do have quite a long bearing surface, so my guess is you will not quite reach as high a velocity. Heaps of rave...
