   I had the vengeance for the money it was good dialed well was on a range rifle so didn’t get the extreams of low light testing done . It’s now on my mates rifle and he’s liking it so far

   I had an epic coming back down the river to the hut. Lots of waist deep crossings. Find a good pole and keep it till you reach the hut.

   Shot my first deer here while staying at the old tent camp that preceded the hut. Saw a hind and a yearling running away. Aimed at the hind and shot the yearling through the head.

    Don't be lazy. Go over the top from Rangi. :) Thats how we used to do it, although I don't ever recall going too far down onto the Pouranaki faces before getting one. Up the Pari was always good too.
