Get your hand out of there and onto the fore end. Stick a sand bag under the butt of the rifle. I believe you're making a "hand sandwich", no good for accuracy from what I've seen.

I know I was surprised as well. I did up a ladder and just kept going up until I got pressure then came back half a grain. Turns out it shot really well too, happy days.

2208 is the business in 243. I used it with 105 grain Targex pills to get 2950fps out of a 20 inch barrel. This was a Truflite barrel that was pretty fast. Nice and accurate too, had it clover...
