The Lyman one has been good for me but I also have two hornady books as well. Digital copies are good but you just can't beat a hard copy. Nathan Fosters books are good too, he does a reloading one...

Tube diameter has very little if anything to do with light transmission, swarovski scopes like Z5 have 25mm tube and are fantastic in low light. It's the glass and coatings that make the difference....

Here's the damage of the 143 ELD-X on a red spiker at 10 yards, muzzle velocity 2890 fps. Went in through the shoulder, punched a big hole in the ribs and exited through a rib on the off side....

Goat goes really well in Mexican style dishes, cumin and paprika make everything taste good. The any Mexican vessel really is appropriate, we used to goat nachoes when we had a heap of goat mince.

I do recall though that my Sako a7 rough tech was 30 inch pounds with a plastic trigger guard...I'd say if you wanted to experiment, start at the Tikka recommended and work down looser. Just my 2...

ADI lists IMR 4198 as an equivalent as well and my Lyman manual has got data for a 135 grain cast and 160 grain cast with IMR 4198 in 7mm08. Very low charge weights, he's obviously not planning...
