Got a metal lathe at home, so did it myself. Took measurements off my AR15 carbine barrel and left a bit of a safety margin. Did wear a welding mask for the first couple of test shots though :D

As per another thread, I use my cheapo rangefinder as a monocular. It's not great, but is sufficient for my needs right now.

My range finder is 6x magnification and I take it with me when I carry the bow. Never thought of using it as a substitute for my 8x25 binos.
