   im no expert at stopping cars by shooting at them but if i was going to i think my first shot would go into the radiator and possibly damaging the engine as well if presented a front shot

   I would not be surprised if the quote from the officer was more like...the offender gunned it down the road and burst a tyre and an officer drew his side ar thinking he ws shot at from the "bang".......

   my concern in this incident/report is more about the media & their choice of language - as per title "forced to shoot". and as above " using language like this to justify shooting at a moving...
