Looks like an initial 3 shot group. Then an adjustment to zero and then another 3 shot group. Then satisfaction. Then gun back into the safe.

Yep I’ve shot quite a few animals with the 147s near and far. Always worked. Had a play with 140 ballistic tips and 130 sierra gkhp but now only use 147s.

Yip seems that way. A mates son used my rifle to shoot a good bull tahr at 620 yards. Stoned it. I shot a similar one at 580 yards. Same result. To be fair 600 is probably far enough for the 260 but...

Personally I feel there's more to be gained by shooting a larger plate rather than a small plate; as long as you are honest with yourself and log every shot placement - better information is gained...
