Greetings All, Was interested to see that ADI seem to have gone from 500 gram bottles to 1 kg bottles. BM 8208 I got recently was in a 1 kg bottle. It will certainly help keeping up with lot numbers...

I was given these cartridges plus a couple of more modern .303 rounds the other day by a friend of mine when I told him what I was working on at the moment. He thought they were pretty old, but...

I think you are correct about just trying some standard ammo and see. Fact is this is probably not going to get shot very often, and I'm not competing with it. Problem is I can't help but tinker with...

Hey Folks, I have a couple of 1943 (or 1946, hard to tell) Lithgow No1Mk3*s, one of which had a full wood and hardware set, but a completely corroded bore, and the other that has a badly sportered...

I reckon have a play with quickload and find a powder that is slower burning and produces way less pressure. Then you can piss off the fillers. They're a bad idea according to quite a few people...

Would be good to try it for sure! Won't look as cool as the 230gr howitzer rounds though. If only I could get them shooting right :pissed off: 185473

Mauser308, the "math" is a lot more complex than you actually think... :P As stated, one measure is roughly 6.35mm at 100 yds. The other is 10mm at 100m. Massive difference, right ? Well, not...
