Go Jap, 100%. Get a nice little dual propose 250. Not to heavy but lets you ride on the open road to further spots and enough power not to get buried by traffic round town.

I've never found a chinese bike to be worth much. The suspension will have next to zero dampening, the springs will be over hard with little 'spring' in them and 17" wheels are small for off road....

I use and have used Julius K9 gear with great effect, the IDC harnesses and saddle bags are great. It's not the cheapest of gear, but it's solid and hard wearing. I've used their older harnesses...
