    Public land buck I took recently. He was chasing some does while croaking his head off. GPS said I chased him for about 2.5km before getting into 70m when he held up on the edge of some thick stuff....

    I have a rule when hunting solo. If it looks a bit dodgy, find a safer way. If this is not possible then turn around. It's not worth the risk.
