Why I asked was because of the wind lean on the tussock, and if you had taken the wind speed it would have been a good illustration for people who watch the vid to use as a reference for their own...

Cheers mate I used my ballistic app and then dialed in my vx5 but I have previously validated it at a long range gong shoot shooting out to 700 yards. It was the furthest shot on game Ive done though.

Good topic thanks. I nearly always have a bit of cord in my pocket. You just never know when you'll have the opportunity to use it. And naturally I am seldom without a pocketknife. I take...

I'm somewhat sympathetic to that, but... I agree. I moved my family to Northland for the fishing and diving opportunities despite it being a bad career move (more to life than working!?). My...

If you are going to be shooting 300m max, just get a 200m zero, or 2 inches high @ 100 That will cover you for hunting. It will be spot on @ 50 & 200, slightly high @ 100 and slightly low @ 300

Every time I see one of these it reminds me of "No Country for Old Men" (the move). Lewellyn goes out shooting Pronghorn and ends up with a shit ton of Mexican drug money and a lot of trouble.

I like the heavier 30 cal projectiles and I was offered the RUM at a good price; finding a Stug Stock for it sealed the deal!
