I'm in a very similar position, and find a suppressed .22lr, shooting segmented subs reduces the pass throughs a lot. You get the odd ricochet of a bullet petal, but they don't go very far, being...

Russian 22. liked post by ebf On thread : Interesting savage 110 video about practical accuracy
Yup, given the flash start of the video, I ended up being a bit disappointed. If they had used their fancy graphics skills to clearly show where the hold points were for each target it would have...

Russian 22. liked post by TLB On thread : Classy lightweight takedown
Another option could be something like a Ruger American Compact. Mine with the suppressor off fits inside my pack, could even cut it another couple of inches shorter so the suppressor comes back to...

Russian 22. liked post by Tahr On thread : 260 bull tahr projectiles
Out to the 500 yards I ever shoot to I don't think BC is a significant factor. The excellent value 160 7mm Fusions BC is .440 and that's good enough middle of the road for me. Same with the BTs'. A...

You say we shouldn’t use ELD-M on tahr as we should respect the game, then you tell us you have used .22 LR on goats. They are game and deserve respect too. Seems a bit contradictory to me.

You can bet-your-boots Maori took the line of least resistance when making a track over the Kaimai's...surprising that is not the one followed.

My ears also ring non stop (age 29), from not wearing hearing protection when younger while shooting and also loud rock/metal concerts. Have to say i wish i had worn ear plugs as it drives me crazy....
