I have been using the 42L tashev as a hunting daypack for about a year having finally worn out my huntech 45. The day pack is way more scratchy but is nice and light , more comfortable than a huntech...

I got one of these for $200 from Comrades . Probably not the lightest but built tough and it has a rubber base and a rain cover in the lid . I find it pretty comfortable, I thought for $200 basically...

Osprey packs are light and reasonably priced , most comfortable harness system I have ever used , they arent as tough as the likes of and old MacPac cascade or heavier canvas type packs , so depends...

Yeah I find it reasonably quiet. Will certainly make some noise but better than my non brushed fabric packs. It comes with a pull over pack cover as well. The other thing I like about it is the rifle...

The light weight packs can take a beating. This is my Gossamer 40 litre. Its done a lot of work and has been hosed down dozens of times to get the blood out of it. It just keeps bouncing back. These...

Depends on your gear and the time of year. For overnighters I pack pretty light and could get a couple of nights out of a 40l. Used to use a huntech but have switched to the hunt away now. Carries a...

I use a Markhor 45L Elk Mtn. Good for day trips as can be squished down pretty small, but I do trips all the way up to about 3-4 days with this pack. It does expand pretty well. If I shoot a deer...

Go for a howa. Broncos sells an aftermarket composite stock or you could run thr hogue they come with. Accurate rifles and cheap but if you set on those 2 my vote is +1 tikka

I have the Stainless Stalker XBolt. I suspect it might weigh a fraction lighter than the Tikka? Great rifle but lightening the trigger is a wee bit of fluffing around, could be simpler on the Tikka...

I have a browning x bolt but the stainless stalker version. I think the cerakote on the hells canyon is a little bit of a gimick as underneath it is just carbon steel, not stainless so the bore would...
