    The nicest dehy meal I have ever had was Mountain House (USA company). Back in 2017 we cleared out a food store in a hut we frequent and found this meal in the bottom of the drum, Carried an expiry...

    back country cooked breakfast FOR TWO..... two different flavours both good...agree 100 % if you can add some water and let rehydrate then top up with the boiling stuff its an improovement.... stir...

    I've found the backcountry fish pie to be surprisingly good, I was expecting to be deeply disappointed the first time I tried it but it hit the spot.

    I've only tried Back Country. Seemed nice enough. Especially the roast chicken and mash one. Must try Wilderness though.

    Hmmm - now there's an idea - I must try one with it reheated in the bag in the billy i.e. double boiler as the water can then be a brew . . . . but if you already do it you can have all the credit...

    With Back Country when possible we add the water to the bags in the morning and let them soak all day, then just heat at meal time. Makes them a lot more edible
