You would not believe how much I would pay for some Blue Cod cooked on a driftwood fire on the beach , with white bread , so much butter it should be illegal and salt .

Further towards magazine point is better. I have caught a few there in the past but always on evening tides Fishing anywhere is better than not fishing at all!!

Usually find the first ones turn up on the cape soucis side. For the last few years it is has been much later (feb, march) before they are caught in consistent numbers off tonga, separation etc. ...
