Hi Viz made a three dot set of sights that mounted on dovetails/ replaced front bead. these work great, and as very lightweight no issues with mounting strength.

Depends on the shotgun, ribs are hard to do properly like the sako clamp mounts, never trusted mine, so got it drilled etc My shotgun came drilled and tapped , factory, perhaps trade or sell yours...

I looked at "Rib Rider" mounts for red dots, but wound up not getting one. I've seen some neat pictures of ribs with dovetails cut in and a folding 10/22 type rear sight installed.

Its done! For now.... still doesn't have the stippling or checkering tidied up, but I'll just leave it for now and make a decision on how to finish that one day. My brother was out for the weekend...
