A 15x1 suppressor will "tighten" onto a 14x1 thread - you wouldn't want to torque it up too tight but it will definitely screw on there

As already mentioned you don't need a torque wrench. For scope ring top cap screws and scope mount base screws tighten the screws nice and snug holding the short end of the L wrench - this limits...

On the Model Seven I tighten the rear screw just a bit more than snug as it's a piddly little 8-36 size screw and especially the stainless ones are super easy to strip the heads on ...
