    My hunting restricts me to what I can carry. One deer is generally plenty, so a 3 shot magazine is plenty. I can only remember once when I emptied a magazine (3+1) and needed another round to finish...

    To me it is more about the size (width, flush fit) of the magazine than the round capacity. 3 gives a compact magazine I guess.
