   I had one and agree. Not so much the bottom end power but lack of FOV at 4.5x. Didn't suit my sort of hunting. Couldn't go to a fixed power either. I find I am changing the magnification a lot...

   My range finder is 6x magnification and I take it with me when I carry the bow. Never thought of using it as a substitute for my 8x25 binos.

    More magnification generally means more size/weight. A 2-20x the size and weight of the 3-9 on my bush pig would be great but if there is such a thing I can't afford it. 9x is plenty for what I use...
