   73100 Covered in a clear matt epoxy lacquer. Only done about 3 trips with it but no sign of ware yet. Mine was done by Paul at NZ Hydrographic Printing in Tauranga.

   If you don't use Lowa's own cream on their boots it voids the warranty. If you don't care about the warranty then Sno Seal is what I have used for many years with no complaints. I have found Nikwax...

   Are they alloy poles Tahr? A lot of tents come with an alloy sleeve to fix poles. They just slip over the pole. Good price on the MSR.

    Fair comment Tahr but i don't know if 300fps is "measly". Roughly the difference between a 7mm08 and 7WSM? or a 308 and a 300WSM? If it is economy you want then it would defiantly be a better option...
