Some air rifles have a ‘silencer’ attached. Possibly the person claiming that rifle had a silencer attached is not gun-savvy enough to be qualified in making that claim.

I have a JR3. Nice press but not grunty like the compound linkage models. Longest ammo I have reloaded was 7x57. No trouble full length sizing 284W. Gap between top of shellholder and the...

I have an RCBS Rock Chucker and it's fine but next press will be the Redding T-7. Sierra Bullets ran a million rounds through a Redding T-7 and had it checked and zero run out or slop, as good as...

Hornady's pathetic zip lock system. The shaft locks by friction. All other die manufacturers have threaded rods with threaded locking nuts or rings. On the Hornady there are are series of thread like...

I used an RCBS Uniflow thrower for years. Dispensed just under and finished with a trickler on my old Ohaus D5 beam scales. With the Uniflow like any thrower it is all about consistant technique/how...

A decent powder thrower is way quicker than any auto dispenser. Even my "budget" lee thrower will hold a charge from start to finish loading 50 rounds, I weigh every 5th or 6th one quickly to make...

I find the IMR4198 works far better than 2206H for reduced charge/recoil loads, it gives far better accuracy and can be used for almost any cartridge from 223 to 3006.

I use 2206 with 77 grn Tipped MK and gimp uses 2208 with 80 ELDM. I can't talk for gimp but I'm sure his is super accurate as is mine. I would load a few with each powder to try. Just go for the...
