    8gr of trailboss fills up the case enough that it isnt a problem other options include a bit of packer on top of the powder charge to keep it in place trail boss is easier tho

    Agree with above about measuring to ogive rather than bullet tip. If you are measuring to the tip, try measuring unloaded projectiles, you might find your 5thou of error there. How is accuracy?...

    Might be an issue with the firing pin or spring ? You may have the same issue no matrer what primers you use :(

    Also looking at this. It has 26gn of h414 and 24gn of h4895 listed. To my knowledge 2208 having a burn rate in-between the two, one would assume 25g of 2208 would also work? Which I tried with good...

    Didn’t feed well in my A7,went to the pointed 170g cast problem solved but not slot of expansion,those 151g open up real well when I single fed them.

    Page from my 43rd edition lyman book. In their powder equivalents table ADI list AP 70n as being equivalent to unique and 4197 as approximating 2207 so you get the idea. It doesn't need a filler....

    if your current subsonic is already passing through,,upping weight wont help at all....it wont make any bigger hole or transpher anymore energy.... unless you hitting enough bone to slow it down/stop...
