Most of the commercial cast bullets are as hard as hell They won't do anything on an animal except hole in and hole out Made hard and PC to be pushed hard and fast Sub optimal for hunting

Commercial PC bullets from Hawke River Bullet Company, sold here by Delta Mike, are rated to 2200fps without GC..whether they are accurate at that velocity would be a different matter.

My 22 CM (made from a 1:9 Savage 223) is a laser with 75s at 3220 - that's a quite mild load, I'm sure someone will get a lot more ( but their barrel life will be very short!

I have no argument with the physics explained here and basically agree with you on what happens to new brass on initial firing. But, dont see how this might set up incipient head separation. At...

Woody, serious question “why would this be different from new slightly under size brass in a belt less case design? It flows forward regardless of the belt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you want cheap accurate projectiles Delta Mike do the 75gr flat base hollow points for $40 per 100 and they do a significant amount of damage to small critters.

150g corlokts 43g 2206h,110g Barnes 45g 2206h as lighter option with less recoil for my boy..both kill well at bush ranges.

Greetings, AR2208 is easy to ignite, especially with LRP in a .308 case. Magnum primers give no advantage and possibly less than that. My go to powder in the .308 is AR2206H and has been for some...
