I would go 7mmRM, tried and proven, can be loaded lighter and you have the extra grunt if you want it, heaps of loading components and factory ammo anywhere. I run my 7mmRM quite light, 162 A-Max...

I reckon if you are spending $1k plus on a rifle the chance of it being a shitter is very very small, buy which one grabs your fancy! Opinions are like arseholes and everyone will tell you to buy...
