Why is factory threaded any different to threaded? I get the barrel chop thing from an anesthetics point but most gunsmith thread and reckons are nicer than factory.

Yes anything wood blued I'd feel a bit dirty docking it that short. Anything stainless or synthetic I veiw as only functional and don't see any good reason to have a longer barrel. As there's not...

I'm a fan of the 22 cal bit I don't think it's accurate. I just don't value energy that much. It does however hold sufficient velocity to make the bullet work way further.
