With 90% of modern boat tail projectiles a pretty much perfect drop chart is calculated with just these 4 things. 1. Confirm if the scope actually tracks correctly by clicking against a grid at...

I have had a Bushnell scope that was .33 MOA per click instead of the .25 MOA indicated. Caused me all sorts of grief till I figured it out. Still have it but its on a rifle I do not dial. Never...

JT_NZ and Cigar What Cigar has just said rung some bells. Although I have not physically measured drop at distance or done a full on tracking test with this scope (Swarovski Z5), the previous...

stagstalker It could be a number of things. Apologies for the following repeats but I will just cover off the troubleshooting checklist I was taught: 1. Incorrect range (measured or inputed)...

JT_NZ 1. The one thing I definitely didn't do by the book was the range. I shot it at 657 yards rather then the 10% back from transonic which is about 1020 yards for this rifle. The reason I did...

Sounds like you are doing most things right and I agree that it is a large MV delta from a CAL MV exercise when one has used a CDM. There is the possibility that you are unlucky and have a barrel...

Availability is one of the key reason that people buy leupold scopes. Most gun stores have them, they are 'reasonably' priced and they are marketed. Think of them as the ford ranger of rifle...

If you are talking over priced Nightforce in nz takes the cake. I own a few but still true. If the same supplier that brought in Nightforce brought in Leupold a vx3 would cost $2500

Leupold scopes are definitely quality...no doubt. My point is that the price vs value is just not there anymore if one takes in consideration other top line scope brands. I suppose that argument...
