    VX5hd + bells and whistles = Vx6hd. You have to ask yourself if the bells and whistles are worth the extra. Firedot is a great "extra".

    Got a metal lathe at home, so did it myself. Took measurements off my AR15 carbine barrel and left a bit of a safety margin. Did wear a welding mask for the first couple of test shots though :D
