    I used Hirtenberger 50 grn. It was cheaper than Norma and just as good. I was paying for mine meat hunting so liked the saving. Not sure if they make ammo any more but it was good.

    The 30mm tube isn’t meant to make any difference to the optics. If the new 30mm leupold vx3 is brighter it must be the glass or the coating. They sound good.
