My 308 with its 18in barrel pushs Hornady Superformance 150ssts thru at about 2820ft/s,165gr at 2700ft/s.Stags at distance dont like them.

Can tell you the same projectile at a mv of 2622fps is devestating at 400y on reds :cool: quick calculation suggests it would only be a difference of about 30ft/lbs if the mv was 2550 fps I reckon...

I only shot one small Pig with them , so that’s not exactly an in-depth trial of their performance. It was quartering away at about 150 yrds and the Pig died instantly . I didn’t do an autopsy...
