   Last nights meal: Sika brisket and fat meaty bits, boiled up with Mutton Sorrel and Puha, spuds and kumera. Might not look like much but simply delicious. 185917

   I saw a parent and some young 1/2 grown kittens up Kiko rd yesterday arvo, this morning I took up a couple of Doc 250 traps. Will see what eventuates. Lots of young pheasants at the moment

   Yes, it had 13 points and would have been a cracker, the other was 9. Mind you lots will get to enjoy early summer fat venison. Gotta pay the carry out crew.

   Thats the stuff , Sheep sorrel is it's more correct name, first time I have tried it in a boil up. Normally use Puha, watercress, cabbage, silverbeet or spinach. Depends whats available. Fatty cuts...
