The biggest difference between them is that the EL and SLC are based on two different optical designs, and you may have a preference for one over the other. The EL incorporates field flattening...

sneeze it really depends what sort of hunting you do. I chase deer on places where some extra weight and carry size is not an issue. But hauling around Chamios country I think the 10 x 32 EL’s are...

I agree with MSL. Buy a stand alone pair of Binos. Technology in range finders is lightening fast. You will end up with an out dated pair in no time. I have the 10 x 42 EL’s and believe they are...

I have read 1000m with the Accolade LRF and that was a XQ50 But 800m is always and that extra bit depends on moisture in air I am guessing

I reckon the Swaro EL 10 x 32 are the perfect New Zealand compact bino. I have EL 10 x 42’s which are very nice but size and weight wise the 32’s are the answer and you lose nothing in magnification....

For what’s it worth I bought a pair of Swarovski EL 10 x 42’s 5 years ago. I am very happy with them. ( I had a pair of SLC 8 x 30’s for 25 years before that are now with my son and still going...

Yes please do winaa. I got pretty close to perfecting the section process by using some very fine files to finish them, worked really well. I also set up a proper camera and lighting so I could...

I challenged Nathan on this very matter in 2017. That is precisely what led me to emailing Sierra! I think Nathan is flat out wrong about the ProHunter being a tougher bullet, maybe because he has...

Just a comment about the GameKing vs the Pro-Hunter. When it comes to the construction they are made on the same machines using the same materials and the same process. I have an interesting email...

Hi Planenutz. With a 65mm objective it would be quite manageable hunting even in Chamios country. I have used it in Otago Hgh country on deer and found it fine. I am using a Swarovski carbon fibre...

Clarity of glass is one key factor long range. I also struggle with closing one eye and looking for long periods through a spotter. I bit the bullet and bought a Swarovski BTX. It has a binocular...
