Excuse me. Inside 400 yards is not short range. Inside 100 is. My eyes can attest to this.

I use orange box PowerPoint and rarely (can’t remember last time) ever needed a second shot into a hare, I keep my hare shooting range to under 75 yards.

It depends on how many I shoot. If you are going to finish processing at home, get the guts out ASAP, otherwise the smell will put you off eating them, even more so with hares.

I would choose accurate ammunition over other considerations. I've never seen any small game walk away from a headshot with CCI Subsonic.

At the right time of year. I'd be very surprised if Cam was suggesting shooting hinds with young fawns.

Great video capturing the moment with your kids. One of the best videos I've seen for awhile in NZ.

If you're buying fuel off some bottom dweller with a heap of old drench containers full on the back of their ute you probably deserve to have your gear fucked also

As Stug mentions ‘Without reasonable excuse’ is the qualifier and the important part here. The Gladstone Range in Wairarapa is close enough to a public road that a passer-by could easily hear...
