   If it’s just for walking and not great distance needed the black diamond storm is hard to beat,had mine over 10yrs now and still going strong..$60 on special in Hamilton at the moment too.

    My main full power hunting load is 43g 2206h with 150g Cor lokt ,was thinking 35g might be a good starting point,work up in .5g increments ,no chrono so be guesswork mostly ,will go for most accurate...

    Wanting to get down to close to 7.62x39 speeds and recoil with the .308 for the young fella,150g bullet though as I have a good selection already.

    Correct..I don’t even sleep in the Ute anymore,small tent with large tarp is the way to go,especially good if you can light a fire under the tarp as well comfort wise,dog gets the Ute to himself and...
