If you can get ammo with the 285gr ELD-M they work well out to 1100m on deer from my experience. Not tried the 270gr ELD-X ammo. $15 is still cheap meat even if only saving back steaks and back legs.

Yip I use 55gr SP with 4 gr Trailboss for camp possums and wounded goats or deer needing a suppressor to the ear , haven’t needed to yet. Super quiet and really good around the dogs.
