Yeah I've got a custom built 28 Nosler, built to run 195gr Berger EOL. I had it built on a Stiller Predator action. Bartlein 8 twist barrel finished at 26 inch, T2 brake. It's poking out the...

Well I knocked up ten OBT predicted rounds this morning, the load is quite close to my OCW load which was a bit temperamental. Minor adjustments to powder charge and seating depth. I went out and...

My hunting mate from Auckland was down for a conference, and we thought we would capitalize on him being in my neck of the woods, and head into the hills for a hunt. We had been planning this for...

Yep, bloody good piece of kit. Love mine, wouldn't go anywhere hunting without it. I use the Large version and im 6ft. Very very solid as a walking stick when fully extended. I've put a lot of...

And my walking stick is 180grams so that package is hardly heavier than the MTN Stick

That one has the certified rating so should be stronger (B-rated is the same as most regular 'walking' type ice axes, T-rated is a level up for technical climbing and belaying off etc). You could...

I like the general idea but the ones I've seen advertised don't seem to be made strong enough for the times you suddenly REALLY need one (lack of a proper rating which ice axes are required to have),...

96cm is a pretty short walking pole... I also wonder how solid it would be as a walking stick at full extension... personally I think you'd be better off with Kahtoola microsipkes and a genuine...

Banged a quick video together for an example. You can see them stiffen up then start to move a few seconds later as the shock passes through. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Qs7RbKbuZ0

Yep quite impressed with the old 6.5x55 doesn't break any speed or energy records but sure does work. My Sambar was officially scored yesterday , he goes 212 1/8 DS, really pleased with him.
