   I think that is for a few reasons, they are not 100% certain that the guy they got is the perp from last week (though very likely) and they are suspecting that he was not alone so there is a serious...

   What planet are you from? Ill spell it out for you....They wont all fit on the gun range at the same time so they will have to take turns, thus any who are not shooting can go to the incident...........

   If they are expected to use firearms for any part of the job, of course they need training. I do not want someone given an AR15 to take to an armed incident and knowing the only information they have...

   I agree I have no issue with the police having access to firearms when they need them. But I would like to see far more training in how to get the best out them when the situation calls for it....

    What I would like Cahill to answer is when does he think the criminals will register their guns? They wont because they cannot get a license!!!!! What will happen if they recover a stolen firearm...
