Only for Joe Blow on the street. They happily ship from dealers. I had them tell me they would no carry one while talking to them on the phone while their van driver was unloading 24 rifles for us...

It may be cheaper to get a break down rifle that the barrel and the stock can be stored separately and thus fit into smaller places. (Also an excuse to get another gun....)

That does somewhat make sense. I see where its coming from now. There still seems to be some debate as to what is safe and what is not but it makes more sense than some of the earlier explanations....
